Drug Resistant Epilepsy — We are near a Breakthrough.

Epilepsy is a chronic neurologic disorder that affects over 70 million people worldwide.

Despite the availability of over 20 antiseizure drugs for symptomatic treatment of epileptic seizures, about one-third of patients with epilepsy have seizures refractory to pharmacotherapy.

Patients with such drug-resistant epilepsy have increased risks of premature death, injuries, psychosocial dysfunction, and a reduced quality of life, so development of more effective therapies is an urgent clinical need.

However, the various types of epilepsy and seizures and the complex temporal patterns of refractoriness complicate the issue.

Furthermore, the underlying mechanisms of drug-resistant epilepsy are not fully understood, Our Hypothesis of Channels being impacted in Epilepsy for Men (7) and Women (9) and Domino Effect of same leading to Epilepsy required the Predictive Analysis of When the Epilepsy shall occur. An EEG modelling aligned to the Predictive Date of the Epilepsy has given good understanding.

We have provided to Every Neuro Doctor and Surgeon ability to use our Predictive Analysis for its first 3 Epilepsy patients without any cost or Courtesy Team Jeevalaya.

Experimental models offer opportunities to discover, characterize, and challenge putative mechanisms of drug resistance.

The current understanding of the molecular, genetic, and structural mechanisms of Antiseizure drug resistance and how to overcome this problem has being the primary work of Researchers at Jeevalaya.

Jeevalaya Approach of using its Compounding Pharmacy and Preparing “precision medicine” under the able guidance of our Medical and Ayurvedic Formulations team for severe pediatric (monogenetic) epilepsies and novel multitargeted ASDs for acquired partial epilepsies, suggests that the long hoped-for breakthrough in therapy for as-yet ASD-resistant patients is a feasible goal and we are near a Breakthrough.

We have increased the number of Patients undergoing Epilepsy Remediation based on the above Custom protocol and this Deepawali we are reaching Milestone of Plenty of Successful Observations and Remediation.

We request that Epilepsy Families benefited by this Remediation plan should spread the word for Inclusion and Shift the Drug-Resistant Epilepsy Program into Ongoing inputs from all stakeholders. Happy Deepawali from Team Jeevalaya
